We've Got Forever - (Forever, Michael)

We've Got Forever was writeen by Willensky.

Lyrics

We've Got Forever lyrics

[INTRO]
(We've got forever, forever)

[VERSE 1]
I'll plant you a garden
Of laughter and tears
With rain and with sunshine
Love will grow through the years
The dreams that we're dreaming
Have time to come true

[CHORUS]
'cause we've got forever
And forever is meant for so very few

[BRIDGE]
We shall have music
We shal have rhyme
We shall have each other
One minute after the end of time

[VERSE 2]
Then we'll add up the pleasures
And treasure the sums
Caring is sharing
The cake and the crumbs
How lucky we are to be me and you

[CHORUS]
'cause we've got forever
And forever is meant for so very few
[ad lib to fade]

Cinderella Stay Awhile - (Forever, Michael)

This song was written by Sutton in 1974. It is also available in the Music & Me Compilation released in 2000 (not the Album with the same title in 1973) and also in 2009- a 3 disc compilation Hello World: The Motown Solo Collection.

[VERSE 1]
Cinderella, stay awhile
You're the one
That I've been lookin' for
Cinderella, when you smile
All around me sunbeams
Start to fall

Midnight is so near
Please don't disappear
Now that you are here
Stay awhile

[VERSE 2]
Cinderella, I just know
That the magic slipper's
Gonna to fit
Cinderella, do not go
You're my princess
I am sure of it

This is love for sure
Love that's sweet and pure
Love that will endure
Stay awhile

[BRIDGE]
When you speak the angels all sing
This is the kind of magic you bring, oh

[VERSE 3]
Cinderella, stay awhile
This is like a fairytale with you
Cinderella, when you smile
All my fairytales are coming true

Well my only fear
Is midnight is so near
Please don't disappear
Stay awhile, oh

(Fairytales, make-believe and you)
(Fairytales, make-believe and you)

Cinderella, stay awhile
Don't you go
Oh
[ad lib to fade]

"One Day in Your Life" is a so
ng recorded by Michael Jackson for his 1975 album, Forever, Michael. It was later released as a single in 1981 due to the strong buzz that generated from the sales of Jackson's hit 1979 album Off the Wall, even though Jackson released that album on a different label. While a modest U.S. hit, it was a bigger hit in the UK, where it became Jackson's first solo recording to hit #1 on the UK Singles Chart. It was number one in the UK for 2 weeks in June 1981, succeeding "Being with You" by Smokey Robinson. This song also featured strongly on the South African singles charts. It was released on the Motown label.
It went on to become the 6th best-selling single of 1981 in the UK.
Recently the song was covered by the Cuban/American singer Gloria Estefan during her 90 Millas World Tour in a section of the show that she dedicated to the memory of Michael Jackson. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BivpFYWnebA When Estefan was a member of Miami Sound Machine she covered the song in Spanish, titled "No Me Olvidaras". It can be found on the 1980 album "Miami Sound Machine"[1].

Lyrics
One day in your life
You'll remember a place
Someone touching your face
You'll come back and you'll look around, you'll

One day in your life
You'll remember the love you found here

You'll remember me, somehow
Though you don't need me now
I will stay in your heart
And when things fall apart
You'll remember one day

One day in your life
When you find that you're always waiting
For a love we used to share
Just call my name, and I'll be there

You'll remember me, somehow
Though you don't need me now
I will stay in your heart
And when things fall apart
You'll remember one day

One day in your life
When you find that you're always lonely
For a love we used to share
Just call my name, and I'll be there

Forever, Michael is the fourth solo album by American singer Michael Jackson, released by the Motown label in 1975 selling 1.5 million copies worldwide. The album was reissued in 2009 as part of the 3-disc compilation Hello World: The Motown Solo Collection.

Album information

The album was Jackson's fourth as a solo artist and would end up being his final album released with Motown before he and his brothers (The Jackson 5) left for CBS Records a year later. This album displayed a change in musical style for the sixteen-year-old, who adopted a smoother soul sound that he would continue to develop on his later solo records for Epic Records.
Most of the tracks were recorded in 1974, and the album was originally set to be released that year. However, because of demand from the Jackson 5's huge hit "Dancing Machine", production on Jackson's album was delayed until the hype from that song died down.
The album helped return Jackson to the top 40, aided by the singles "We're Almost There" and "Just a Little Bit of You", both written by the Holland Brothers (Eddie and Brian) of Holland–Dozier–Holland.

In 1981 Motown released "One Day in Your Life" as a single, coupled with the One Day in Your Life compilation album release, to capitalize off Jackson's Off the Wall success on Epic. The single went to number one in the UK, becoming the 6th best-selling single of 1981 in the UK.
